Taiwan’s Taekwondo team has returned victorious from the recent International Tournament in Hong Kong, marking a milestone in their participation. With a stellar performance, the Taiwanese athletes not only brought home several medals but also garnered media attention with a semi-professional coverage on YouTube.

The tournament, which saw a turnout of 400 competitors, was a stage of intense competition. The presence of Asian countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, and China, among others, turned this event into a true international gathering.

Under the guidance of Master Jack Chen from the national military Taekwon-Do team, Taiwanese athletes secured a place on the podium in various categories. Notable achievements include gold medals in the male and female categories under 70 kg, under 60 kg, and under 55 kg, as well as a silver and bronze medal in other weight divisions.

The gold medalists are: August Chen in the male category under 70 kg. Kim Ho in the female category under 60 kg. Wen Qing Huang in the female category under 55 kg.

The silver and bronze medalists are: Tim Wang in the male category under 65 kg. Fly Chen in the male category under 65 kg.

With semi-professional coverage on YouTube, the team has reached a considerable audience, with the first episode garnering over 20,000 viewers in a week.
