The Argentine representative Brisa Ponce was crowned World Champion in Female Youth patterns 1st Dan this Friday afternoon in Amsterdam.
The junior Ponce defeated Zora Choi from the United States in the final in a very competitive draw with almost 30 competitors representing 14 countries.
As soon as the fight was over, the new champion accepted the interview holding back tears of happiness and thanked her coaches, her family and “my teammates who are always there supporting us.”
She also had time for her World Cup continues this Saturday with her participation in combat up to 60 kg and with the Youth Team of her country.
