Who says this is Anastasia Alexandridou, President of Taekwon-Do Deutschland e.V, who highlights that “after the two-year break, due to Covid-19, this will be the first live championship. I think we all expect an incredible and fair tournament , full of unforgettable moments”.

With these expectations, the team is preparing hard, with training sessions four times a week, led by the head coach, Marcel Meinecke. “Our national trainer is Marcel Meinecke, V. DAN and International Instructor. He works very calm, meticulous, with a high level of social skills and great idealism. All team members are very happy to have him not only as an instructor but also as a very good friend” explains Anastasia Alexandridou.

This concept of friendship is also highlighted by the President of Taekwon-Do Deutschland e.V when we ask her about which team members have the best chance of achieving good results. “All of our competitors have their own skills and have grown on their way to the World Championship, which is why they represent Germany in the Netherlands. The team members are close friends and work intensely together, focused, with power and humor.”

A special mention dedicates Alexandridou to the Master Chand. “Our INO in Germany is growing, and we are very grateful that our instructors and black belts are trained by the extraordinary Master Y. Chand VII. DAN, who without his support, knowledge and training we would not be where we are today. Thank you Master Chand! !”
