If you’re preparing to take part in the ITF World Championship 2025, this guide is for you. Making sure you meet all the necessary requirements and understand the accreditation process can make a big difference in your experience at the most important tournament in ITF Taekwon-Do.
Essential Requirements for Competitors
To register as a competitor, you must meet the following criteria:
A valid ITF Choi Jung Hwa degree certificate
An up-to-date Status Card, issued by ITF
Registration must be submitted through your national organization (MO or INO) – no exceptions
Participation in the official weigh-in, scheduled for Wednesday, July 23 at 15:00 (venue to be confirmed)
☑️ Only registrations through official organizations will be accepted. Individual entries will not be allowed.
Requirements for Coaches
All coaches accompanying the delegations must also meet the following conditions:
Hold a minimum rank of 1st Degree (1º Dan)
Have a valid degree certificate and status card
Have completed at least one IUC or ICC, either in person or online
Attend the official coaches’ meeting on July 23 (exact time to be confirmed)
Requirements for Umpires
Umpires will play a crucial role in the technical management of the tournament. To be part of the official umpire team, they must:
Hold a minimum rank of 1st Degree (1º Dan)
Have a valid ITF degree certificate and status card
Possess a valid A or B Class ITF umpire certificate
Attend the mandatory umpire meeting on Wednesday, July 23
