At this meeting, schools from the lakes regions, the rivers region, the Araucanía region and the Maule region met. The competition was held in a framework of great enthusiasm with 200 competitors of different grades and categories, in different modalities such as tulle and individual wrestling, tulle by teams and high jump.
Each of the activities was vibrant accompanied by the public and the local sports signs, gathering a nice attendance frame of more than 500 people.
In senior Dan categories the winners were:
- Erwin Navarro (muermos)
- Raúl albornoz (Talca)
- Juan Carlos espinoza (Puerto Montt)
In adult Dan categories:
- Ángel González (alerce)
- David Ruiz (Puerta Sur)
- Cristóbal Medina (puerto Montt)
In the Dan veterans category they were:
- Iván castillo (muermos)
- Jaime Uribe (puerto Montt)
Another of the attractive categories was the high jump. Achieving first place for adults, mr. Luis González, 2.45 meters tall, from the city of Los Muermos, and Miss Francisca Valenzuela, 2.2 meters tall.
The overall medal table was:
- Instituto Chang Hon (dojang central) 1 lugar
- Escuela Taekwon-do Muermos, 2 lugar
- Escuela Chang Hon, Puerta Sur, 3 lugar
The next activity, the XVIII inter-regional championship, will be held in the month of November in the city of Puerto Montt, after the trip of the Chilean delegation to South America.
