The representative of the United States Akshat Agarwal and the Argentine Valentin Herrera faced each other in an even duel to see who would win the gold medal.
The title finally went to the young Herrera but the full satisfaction of both was shown in that long hug they gave each other at the end of the fight.
In the immediate interview to win the title, Valentín held on for a few seconds to dedicate the victory to his parents, his friends, coaches and the San Lorenzo club, and immediately broke down in a wonderful emotion that infected us all.
