There is very little left for the fighting to begin in this ITF World Championship in the Netherlands and we decided to review the different divisions and the rules for this exciting segment of the World Cup.

The different divisions will be made up of Male and Female Groups, with competitors from 1st to 6th Dan, segmented by weight as follows:
adult male
Mini up to 58 kg
light up to 64kg
Welterweight up to 70 kg
Middle up to 76kg
Heavy up to 82kg
Hyper over 82kg
adult female
Micro up to 50 kg
light up to 55kg
Welterweight up to 60 kg
Middle up to 65kg
Heavy up to 70kg
Hyper more than 70kg
Regarding the awarding of points in combat, the rule establishes that 1 point will be given for:
Attack with the hand directed to the middle or upper section. Foot attack directed at the midsection. Hand attack to the midsection while jumping.
2 points for: Foot attack directed at the upper section. Jumping or flying kick directed to the midsection. Manual attack to high section while jumping.
And 3 points will be awarded against a jumping or flying kick directed to the upper section.
There are 9 reasons why the competitor will receive a warning:
Attack an unauthorized target
Exit the square (step with both feet outside the square, or with one while the other is raised)
Intentional or involuntary fall (when any part of the body, except for the feet, is touching the ground)
Grabbing or pushing (if a competitor is pushed out of the square, it will not be considered a warning for leaving the square)
Speaking, not listening or disregarding the referee’s instructions
Turning away from the opponent, intentionally avoiding the fight or celebrating (pretending to have scored a point)
Pretending to have been hit by the opponent to gain an advantage
Attacking a downed competitor
Making gestures to intimidate an opponent (unsportsmanlike conduct)
The faults for which a point will be deducted from any of the competitors are the following:
Losing your temper, either verbally or with gestures
Insult the opponent in any way
Biting, scratching, hitting or blocking with the elbow or knee, striking with the forehead
Engaging in excessive contact with an unauthorized part of the body
For the sum of three warnings
