With the participation of 400 taekwondo players, the classification in the National Taekwon-Do Championship was held this weekend at the José Hernández Sports Complex in San Salvador de Jujuy. The Argentina Taekwon-do Tour visited the province of Jujuy for the first time with great repercussions.
Master José Maidana (VIII Dan) promoter of the ATT, highlighted that “we started with Jujuy for the development of the ATT looking for sports values.”
Local athletes participated in this qualifier for the National Taekwon-Do Championship to be held in December in Buenos Aires, as well as others from Salta, La Rioja, Chaco, Santiago del Estero, Tucumán, Corrientes, Buenos Aires and even from the neighboring country of Bolivia.
The competition was broadcast to the rest of the country and to several neighboring countries by DeporTV, which allowed regional athletes to show their skills in other places. “We are very happy to be able to project from the interior since the images we receive are always from Buenos Aires or other parts of the country, but this time it is Jujuy’s turn” said Maestro José Maidana in this regard.
The next stage will be after the World Cup in the ATT of Resistencia Chaco, which will take place on August 21.
